She's been in and out of consciousness all day.
She's currently bedded down for the night and hopefully resting off the worst of the gross.
I started off this birthday like I pretty much start them all off ; in a funk.
Birthdays get me down. I don't like much getting older and seeing my hairline recede more and more.
My worries change to grown up worries, which seem slightly larger and more arduous then before.
The pace of my life has certainly slowed down in recent years, and very much for the better !
Im still getting used to it. I have a ton to be thankful for and Im very grateful and humbled every day.
I would say that Im still making mistakes, and am just as passionate and firey as I used to be, just in more subtle ways I assume.
I caught a bit of lunar eclipse, and a wee bit of snow on the eve of my b-day. It was a nice gesture on mother nature's part.
As if to say "hey dummy, take a minute or 2 and settle down, there's beauty all around you ! remember ?" I do, and alot of times I gloss over it because Im too stressed out to be bothered with it. But what kind of relevant artist would I be if I were not open bloodshot eyed to the beauty and horror of this world ?
There's a beauty in my bed I need to get to, and some beautiful music I'll be getting to tomorrow.
Cheers.

Hello Buzznet blog/journal thingy :)
Im writting to you since my girl"thing" isn't home and Im lonely. She had to work my shift at my store tonight to make up for the fact that Im sick! I've been taking vitamin C tablets for the last 6 days in an attempt to bulk up my immune system. It was a failed attempt to stave on infection from the multitude of sickies that've been running around my area these past few weeks.
I've finally succumbed to what is most likely "strep"throat. Since I don't have tonsils it's really hard to get a positive off of the swab they took, but my doc took one look in my throat and was like "umm yea....we're going to treat you for strep". Weeeeeee. Being sick has only one advantage, and that is forcing one to rest when you normally wouldn't. My body has been screaming at me in pain every time I try to do anything other than lay on the couch or in bed. And even that is frought with turmoil because we have 4 kids in the form of 3 cats and a dog. I say kids because they wiggle, and need to be fed, and get into trouble, and knock suff over, and make noise, and pee in corners, and poop on stuff. They're also impossibly cute and we love them to death. But it certainly does suck ass when I want to light myself on fire cause my throat hurts so bad, and I have to get up at 2am to clean pee off the bathroom floor. (Moaning in pain the entire time while my hard sleeping beautiful mate slumbers away in our gigantic bed.) Hopefully I can tough out my shift tomorrow and by my birthday on thursday I'll be in tip-top shape to help do some fun photoshooting with Machinedance (who also happens to be my bed partner and lovely better half.) I know all 3 of you robot mice that are reading this are soooooo jealous. I put music on my BUZZNET profile out of boredom, go check it out !
_joshua
